privacy
practicepal is built to hold as little as possible, and to keep what it does hold private to your family.
what i collect
the tracker details you enter as the admin — a family display name, owner name, timezone, notes, and whether streaks are shown prominently, optionally, or hidden.
each kid's name, avatar emoji, and color label.
each goal you set (title, category, target amount and unit, frequency) and every logged session — the date, amount completed, duration, effort level, who logged it, and an optional note.
what i use it for
showing your family which goals are on track, building each kid's streak, and letting anyone with access log a completed session.
what i'll never do
sell your data, run ads against it, or share your family's tracker with anyone outside it.
where your data lives
in a private, access-controlled postgres database. access is via admin, contributor, or viewer links rather than an account system — each is a separate, long, unguessable link.
if you lose your admin link, you can recover it through homebase (if your tracker was created from there) instead of losing access entirely — this recovery flow verifies your homebase identity but doesn't otherwise change what's stored. if you open practicepal from homebase, your homebase account email is shown in that session's page header only.
your data, your call
archive a kid, a goal, or the whole tracker any time from the admin page. email me if you want a tracker's data gone for good.
